Following last year's distribution agreement for Baking Enzymes with DSM Food Specialities, S. Black is now also able to offer DSM's beverage enzymes and savoury ingredients in the UK.

Complementing S. Black’s existing offering of flavours, DSM’s range of savoury ingredients includes Gistex®, which builds a savoury taste foundation, Maxavor® for a variety of delicate process flavours and Maxarome®, which enhances umami sensation and can be used for sodium reduction. The latest two introductions Gistex® HUM LS and Maxavor® Chicken YE will also be part of the range. Gistex® HUM LS is a base for both powerful savoury taste and umami. Maxavor® Chicken YE allows manufacturers to create a natural, authentic chicken taste while labelling only ‘yeast extract’.

The beverage product range includes Brewers Clarex™, a breakthrough solution for brewers with many benefits. With Brewers Clarex™, brewers are able to increase production capacity without any further investment. Energy costs are saved which helps boost profitability and the brewing process is simplified. Brewers Clarex™ allows the shelf life of beer to be extended whilst maintaining the quality of the final product. Last but not least Brewers Clarex™ is a natural and environmentally friendly concept.

This comes as part of an agreement with DSM Food Specialities choosing Azelis as it's distributor for bakery enzymes, beverage enzymes, and savoury ingredients in selected European countries.
